- 1 (16 oz) pkg penne pasta
- 3 chicken breasts, cubed (use leftover chicken if you have it)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 bunch asparagus, cut into 1 in. pieces
- 4 TBSP butter
- 2 TBSP flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1-2 cups pesto sauce (I get a jar at Sam's Club)
- Chopped fresh tomatoes
- 2 strips bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Pesto Chicken Pasta with Asparagus
I love pesto sauce and so I made this up one night. I must say, it was pretty dang good and my children ate it up!
