- 3-5 cups of asparagus cut into 1-2 in. pieces
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 4 TBSP butter
- 4 TBSP flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 can evaporated milk (add another cup of milk if you don't have this)
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups chicken broth
