Strawberry Pie

I love to make this simple yet delicious pie when strawberries are on sale.  Everyone thinks you spent hours making this because it's so yummy!


  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 TBS cornstarch
  • 1 small pkg of strawberry jello
  • 1 basket strawberries, washed, tops cut off and cut in half
  • cool whip
  • 1 gram cracker pie crust
Mix sugar and cornstarch in a sauce pan.  Add water and bring to a boil over med heat.  Boil for 2 min.  Add jello and let cool.  Once cooled, add strawberries and pour in pie crust.  Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.  Serve with cool whip.
